Goal.com Wishes Happy Independence Day To Its Readers
Independence is something which is vital to our living being and goes unnoticed while we are engrossed in our daily chores.
The freedom of speech and expression, right to equality, right against exploitation, right to freedom of conscience and free profession, right to propagation of religion and much more, which we enjoy must be cherished as not everyone in this world is lucky to enjoy them.
It’s about time to take notice of the same and dream big in every sphere of life including the most passionate, thrilling, lovable and popular sport – FOOTBALL.
Indian football is mired in a complex web of problems and while the recovery process is on, the time to undo the mistakes of the past are taking far too long for anyone’s liking.
“Freedom is taken, not given,” were the famous words uttered by Subhash Chandra Bose and it certainly holds relevance to the present day scenario.
While there is no single big step which needs to be taken to improve the situation, action must be initiated on simultaneous fronts.
Inspiration must be taken from the freedom fighters as they embarked on the “impossible” dream to achieve Independence back then and dream that one day the Indian tri-colour would be amongst the elite 32 nations at the Football World Cup.
Yes, India has just been ousted from the 2014 World Cup Qualifier but we can always plan for the future by taking the right steps in the present.

Dhada Postmortem & A Open letter to Team Associated by Mudra
Many of my friends, when I asked “what kind of a movie is DHADA, to which genre does it belong to?” , responded very strangely few saying “a thriller”, “an action packed”, “an action packed thrilling entertainer”, “Chaitu’s first Mass movie”, “a stylish movie”. Well, this was a pre-release discussion to just know sort of expectations. Post release, after me watching the movie, inquired myself about the same and found very interesting facts.
A movie to be called as a thriller, it should have at least couple of thrilling moments, twists and turns which would amuse the viewer, DHADA doesn’t contain a single of such. May be the writer-director-producer-hero, excited about the so-called Interval bang when penned on a paper or in discussions, but it is so pale onscreen after execution gaining a silly sarcastic laugh after the lights were on indicating a time for the break between boring journey.
An Action Packed Entertainer serves the purpose with a minimum of enjoyable action, name it stunts, fights, chases, bike/car races. Here DHADA has a couple of such, but with no purpose or use, unless they are backed well with any lead or strong cause intended they can’t entertain rather gave a feel of amateurish.
What is use of Style in a movie when there is no substance at all? For that matter even the style is of substandard, when it comes to taking.
A Telugu “mass” cinema is one which enthralls viewers & especially entices fans, with their hero confronting the villain directly or indirectly with his own actions, reacts daringly to the challenges thrown by villain, dashing encounter with the baddies etc, unlike a passive common man, above all who gives a fit for nothing impression without any aim/ambition for himself.
Last but not least, the basic need of a commercial entertainer is an engaging entertainment in the name of enjoyable comedy, irrespective of freshness in subject-story-scenes etc. DHADA scores a big, BIG ZERO in this aspect. The shabby screenplay with forcibly inserted disgusting comedy irritates one to the CORE!
Ideally Telugu Commercial Cinema runs defying the logic but when entertainment takes back seat then reasoning for flaws in movie takes front seat. That’s what happened with an IIT –IIM film maker aspirant’s (AJAY BHUYAN) Hollywoodish Telugu Movie which has just a wood feel but nothing else.
Few Questions out of the Doubts Bank of DHADA:
- First & foremost we would like to know the Genre of this movie?
- What is the story of DHADA, of course a brief, just subject line would be fine? Is it making any sense to you?
- Is there anyone who can be called as HERO in your movie? Mind it: A Hero / Protagonist of a movie have an aim/ambition throughout the movie and that should be the crux of a commercial deliverable. [Love, Revenge … etc] Did your Hero, Vishwa has any goal/aim/ambition for 2hrs out of 2:20 or 2:30 hrs of the movie? Except towards Climax rescuing his brother?
- What is your taste of Comedy? Is it Hollywoodish again? Where did you see one allowing a Butcher’s knife inside a prison cell? [Ali owns this in your DHADA, that too in America]
- Do you have any idea of who Brahmanandam is and what can he do to a movie? Watch Dhee, Ready, Krishna, they show you if he is utilized properly how an average movie sets the boxoffice on fire!
- What is the Characterization written for your Heroine? A multi millionaire’s daughter who weeps weeps weeps throughout her life from childhood for losing her mother, but wearing all designer outfits with creative hair dos!
- Who shot that stupid video, of Heroine’s mother’s death scene, when her car was hit by a heavy vehicle and everything went under water? Is that Handy cam so waterproof and is found from sea/ocean?
- How can you think in so creative way to find a Handy cam from Sea making the video print on a film reel having a Film Projector in Heroine’s half-built dark room and keep watching it day & night, throughout the life but never completely?
- How actually did Heroine’s mother die? How did Heroine miss to watch the video clip given by Hero when her lifelong task, given by you, is watching that stupid video since childhood?
- Heroine carries a Digital Cam (???If yes) takes some pictures and uses a dark room color lab for printing, wow so creative!!! How is it possible Mr.Creative?
- How did you think that audience will connect to your Protagonist? What is he doing on-screen, other than roaming on roads? At least after a discussion scene at home with Sri Ram and Sameeskha of going back to India, if it was shown as Chaitu agrees to stay back with them and starts his job search or doing a job in middle etc it would help one connect to him and of course he having a mission is crucial.
- How can one get connected from the Target Audience, to the story, especially the Villian’s business (so Sick) and it getting impacted by Hero (that too unknowingly … it means no chance to show heroism too), villain chasing for Hero, Hero has no sign about it, not even a hide & seek so pale & passive …?
- Who has given you the idea or the inspiration for multiple climaxes during the climax of this movie? Did anyone taught in your IIT & IIM courses about the fire accident climax scene? Forget about education, where is the COMMON SENSE?
DHADA shattered all the dreams of those fans who wished a new image for Chaitu helping in creating a new and strong base of his own among mass-action movie lovers. A movie turning out to be a Flop is far better than a movie taking such a bad shape throwing the fans in to depression. Fans are the strength of Telugu Cinema and Telugu Film Stars, if they get cheated by their idols; it’s inevitable for their vent outs as well.
One find the means to vent out through Discussion Forms, Blog Posts, Open Letters, Tweets, Scraps in Orkut, Posts in Facebook, SMS, Calls etc. Must mention, a vent out is not just sharing one’s frustration, but a wish, a hope if it goes to the notice of their idols and associated, would help in making them realize and reinvent themselves to deliver meaningful goods, striking back with sense of perfection.

In this instance, who owns the reason for MISERABLE FAILURE of DHADA?
Who should take the blame? Who should learn the Game? Who should understand what?
Majority of the viewers and fans blamed KAMAKSHI Team for delivering this scrap. They have reasons to justify too for blaming the team, as they got badly hit by KEDI and in no time, got DHADA a shocking effect on Chaitu’s upcoming career. I don’t go against such fan’s words, but at the same time, can’t 100% accept blaming on ONLY Kamakshi TEAM for the failures of their movies with Nag & Chaitu.
Nag’s career did not start & shape up just because of KAMAKSHI Movies. Also KAMAKSHI Team did not start their production house with Nag, but of course they continued working with only Nag & Family, for reasons known and unknown. They both joined hands after they independently
got their own recognition as Hero & Production House respectively. Now Nag is a Senior Hero and KAMAKSHI is one of the reputed banners in Telugu Film Industry. Of course the movies coming out from their combination are giving bitter results many-a-times, but DO give a thought:
Can they move ahead with the movie production unless there is a “Go-Ahead” from Nag? There might be a situation when Nag is in a plan to do a movie with so & so Director, existing or giving a chance to new one, and happened to give that Project to KAMAKSHI to Produce. Or there might be another situation where KAMAKSHI got Nag’s dates for a Project and started looking for Scripts & Directors, when found can they move ahead with Production without getting Nag’s approval? In either the cases just try giving a thought: Can they move ahead with the movie production unless there is a “Go-Ahead” from Nag? So it is crystal clear that either Nag liked someone’s script/work and gave it to Kamakshi or Kamakshi got a script/director and took Nag’s approval for the movie to shape up and come to fans. So when coming to the FEEL & FATE of movie at box-office, why is the credit/blame going only to the Producer? [Excluded Director in this context, because most of the recent directors in this combination are either new or upcoming.]

My request to each of this combination is “Kindly don’t let your friendship play a predominant role in working out the movie combinations, if any such case, in accepting or rejecting a script or a director”.
NAG: The above is mainly for you. KAMAKSHI is one such banner which is dedicated to only you & your family, but they alone receiving the STONE & BRICKS by the movie lovers and fans when any movie misfires, is not fair. So request you to let this flow in your words, of course rephrased, in one way or the other, in any interview or speech in function.
SIVA PRASAD REDDY / CHANDAN REDDY: Don’t play with fans emotions. Every time when your movie misfires fans vent out their frustration finding out means, but give a thought, it is a reaction to your actions during the movie progress talks and especially audio launch hungamas. You promise fans, every time not just a good and successful movie but THE BEST AND BEST HIT in connection with RECORDS & CENTERS. Give a thought, how bad fans would feel, when Mahesh’s Sister Manjula gave a Milestone kind of good movie “Ye Maaya Chesave” and Arjun’s Father Allu Aravind gave first best commercial success “100% Love” but you being Best Friends, part of family kind and AKKINENIFANS, couldn’t even take care of a proper script and director, that too when Chaitu is working hard putting sincere efforts to shape up a better career. Just think, how many times, a movie from KAMAKSHI is coming out during the times when Heroes career is going good with couple of good films.
Do Remember: Fans can digest & excuse FLOPS but not BAD FILMS. It’s time to stop giving promises and make your work speak loud than just speeches and false updates
CHAITU: You have a long way to go, just started your career. Though successes and failures are part of one’s career, don’t take it to heart BUT, DO TAKE IT TO YOUR MIND to learn from both successes and failures, what to do, what not, how to, how not etc. Spend time in knowing and learning some filmmaking concepts, script knowledge, so that you can have it as a helping hand in script selections not leading you to give a nod to BULL SHIT
scripts like DHADA, which is million miles far from NATIVITY and top of all COMMON SENSE.
scripts like DHADA, which is million miles far from NATIVITY and top of all COMMON SENSE.
IMPACT of DHADA kind of BULLSHITS:
Nag & Chaitu, am sure you would be afraid again at least for some long in near future about hearing a script from an ABSOLUTE NEW COMER and giving him a chance to make the film with you. This effect would directly or indirectly close the doors to many aspirants who dream to work with you having genuine ideas and stuff with them. How Pity!!!
Fans, Buyers and common audience are now afraid of KAMAKSHI + NAG, KAMAKSHI + CHAITU Combinations. If a movie comes in near future, either it would go for loss coverage for buyers or getting lesser offers, or resulting poor openings or luke warm response from fans and audience. As Kamakshi is a banner which can take up films regularly, I don’t wish for “no movies” in this combination because it would impact
tollywood boxoffice revenue and dependant families in film industry rather wish for films with proper care like never before.

All the Very Best to all your future endeavors! Hope this write-up serves the purpose in making you to think for a while & remember forever.
Tail Piece: Audience gets a FLOWER and STONE along with every TICKET they purchase for a movie, it all depends on you which one to opt for!
Bottom Line: Do Remember: Fans can digest & excuse FLOPS but not BAD FILMS. It’s time to stop giving promises and make your work speak loud than just speeches and false updates
With Love,
A Passionate Movie Lover.
Dhada Movie Review by Mudra
DHADA is one of the WORST EVER movies on Telugu Screen. The movie has right capacity to compete with many others to stand in TOP WORST of TOLLYWOOD, especially from the combination of a reputed Production House and reputed Hero. For sure this is KAMAKSHI’s WORST till date, WORST of Chaitu’s till date and stands in TOP 10 WORST of AKKINENI MOVIES.
This is a Poor Execution of a line similar to KHILADIYON KA KHILADI with mix of inspired scenes from various Foreign Films.
If a similar story line, with backdrop as Hyderabad and connections of mafia to other country (Malaysia) and having Hero’s family member missing pre-interval due to Villian’s act, then Hero chasing and finding the villain, with couple of interesting twists and turns on the lines of Akshay Kumar’s KHILADIYON KA KHILADI and LAKSHYAM (few to name) would fall within the nativity scope catering to at
least one section of the audience. As in this pattern, Hero would be close to the audience from their place and mainly he would have a mission of his own apart from running around lady-love. Mind it: Villian’s business needs a change.
least one section of the audience. As in this pattern, Hero would be close to the audience from their place and mainly he would have a mission of his own apart from running around lady-love. Mind it: Villian’s business needs a change.
Except for Chaithanya’s conviction and commendable improvement in dance and stunts departments and good Camera work, it has nothing to offer, forget about new or old, it has seriously nothing to offer. Worst Heroine role, spineless villains, brainless baddies, senseless comedy, soulless love scenes, feel less emotions, badly etched characters, pale narration, silly dialogues, shabby screenplay with disgusting comedy tracks, lazy onscreen moments, uninteresting sound, make DHADA a strict avoid on Big Screen.
Good Audio got wasted on screen without proper lead scenes and execution.
DHADA’s uniqueness: This is a genre less movie which wouldn’t fit in to any kind from Thriller, Entertainer, Action Packed, Comedy, Love/Romance, Sentiment, Mass Masala … you name it!!!
Unless you have a soft corner on Chaitu, WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Dhada Movie Talk
Story antu em ledhu, just screenplay based Action Thriller
Chai did his best especially when it comes to Dances, great work by Nava Yuva Samrat
kajal : oh my god, she is loosing her charm, its high time for her to change the costume designer
Twists in the tale worked out well
3 songs are good
Pale comedy track, a good comedy would have changed the fate of the movie
Action sequences and chase scenes are good on screen
Production values are good
When it comes to fate of a movie, the content and execution is more important, which are the main limitations of this flick
Movie ki divide talk undi as of now, at best Avg to Above Avg antunnaru
Dhada box office fate will depend on how Kandireega scores, if the later becomes a Blockbuster Dhada will pack in couple of weeks
Special thanks to Chinna
